The Wonderful World of USA Bicentennial Album
The Wonderful World of USA Bicentennial Album: A picture history of 250
years of American history 1776–1976
was released in October 1975. The 320-card "stamp" series and album was
produced by Eddie Sargent Promotions Ltd. and printed in Canada. The
"Bi-Centennial Do-It-Yourself Picture Album Kit" includes all 320 picture
cards and 44-page collector album. The perforated card panels were distributed
in a series of 10 sheets with 32 cards on each sheet. Each panel measures 2 x
2.5 inches.
The 32-card "Famous Americans" chapter includes astronauts Alan Shepard, John
Glenn, and Neil Armstrong.
The 30-card "Space Age" subset showcases the history of aeronautics and
astronautics from Robert Goddard to the Skylab space station. Astronauts from
Project Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions are included.
