1963 Oh Henry! : U.S. Space Project Action Pictures
U.S. Space Project Action Pictures were released in 1963 by the
Williamson Candy Company of Chicago. The seven-card series features official
NASA photographs of the Mercury Seven astronauts. One astronaut card panel was
printed on each specially marked display box of Oh Henry! candy bars. Each
astronaut card panel measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Each Mercury astronaut is
identified by last name. The back of each card panel is blank.
Action Pictures 5 x 7 inch photo cards were available by mail order. Action Pictures Series B includes photographs of Scott Carpenter and the Mercury-Atlas 7 mission. Action Pictures Series C features the Mercury Seven astronaut card photos, plus an additional group photo. The back of each 5 x 7 astronaut photo includes a biography.
