1965 United States Air Force : Space Defenders
Space Defenders photo cards were issued in 1965 by the United States
Air Force. The 20-card black-and-white collection features "Military Missiles and
Satellites Launched From Cape Kennedy Air Force Station, Florida." The series
was produced by the Office of Information for the Air Force East Test Range at
Patrick Air Force Base in Brevard County, Florida.
Complete sets of Space Defenders were distributed in 20-card paper envelope packs and perforated sheet variants. The non-perforated sets include a red header card. Each perforated card measures approximately 2.25 x 3.25 inches. The card backs contain mission information and technical specifications.
