1964 Topps : Popsicle Space Cards



Popsicle Space Cards were distributed by Popsicle in 1964. The 55-card collection is a reprint of the 1963 Astronauts Pictures 3-D series from Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. The series features official NASA photographs of Project Mercury and the Mercury Seven astronauts. The cards were distributed in wax packs with boxes of Popsicle. Each pack included a piece of bubble gum. The American Card Catalog reference is F253.

The Popsicle Space Card use the same blue back design as the Space Cards and Target: Moon series issued in 1958 by Topps.
