2023 Leaf : Decision 2022 Political Trading Cards
Midterm Madness
Decision 2022 Political Trading Cards were released by Leaf Trading
Cards on March 3, 2023. The series was created under the direction of Brian
Wallos. Each hobby box contains 20 cards including 3 thick premium inserts.
The insert cards are randomly distributed. The 200-card base series is
available in ten different foil parallels, each serial numbered to #/10 or
less. A Decision 2023 Update expansion series was released on November
29, 2023.
The "Elite In Memoriam" subset includes Apollo 11 Command Module Pilot Michael
Collins. The official NASA portrait was taken on April 16, 1969. The silver
base card is available in eight different color variations, each serial
numbered to #/10 or less.
Michael Collins is the fourth person to perform a spacewalk and the second
person to orbit the Moon alone. In July 1969, Collins piloted the Command Module
Columbia while Commander Neil Armstrong and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin
"Buzz" Aldrin walked on the Moon.
Major General Michael Collins died from cancer on April 28, 2021. Collins' ashes were interred in Section 51 of Arlington National Cemetery on January 30, 2023.
