2015 Boeing : Aerospace Trading Cards First Edition

Boeing Aerospace Trading Cards First Edition were released in June 2015 by The Boeing Company. The 44-card collection is distributed in four different foil packs labeled 1 (Yellow), 2 (Blue), 3 (Green) and 4 (Silver). Each pack contains ten base cards plus one foil "Commemorative" card.

The "Heritage" series includes the Saturn V launch vehicle, a collaborative effort by Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, and North American. "Defense, Space, and Security" includes the International Space Station (ISS) and the Boeing 702SP satellite bus. The "Cutting Edge" series features the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV), the INTELSAT 29E Satellite, and an early concept illustration of the Boeing Crew Space Transportation (CST-100).

CST-100 was renamed Starliner on September 4, 2015. The first uncrewed Orbital Flight Test of Starliner Spacecraft 3 was conducted December 20–22, 2019. The unnamed Starliner Spacecraft 2 successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS) on May 21, 2022. NASA astronaut Sunita "Suni" Williams gave Spacecraft 3 the name Calypso after the research vessel RV Calypso used by Jacques Cousteau.

The first Boeing Crewed Flight Test (Boe-CFT) began on June 5, 2024. Barry "Butch" Wilmore and Suni Williams launched atop a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from SLC-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Calypso successfully docked with the ISS Harmony node on June 6, 2024.

Due to issues with the Reaction Control System thrusters, NASA and Boeing decided to return the Starliner spacecraft uncrewed. Calypso successfully touched down without any passengers on September 7, 2024 EDT.

ROSCOSMOS cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, Expedition 71 commander, handed over the ISS command to Suni Williams on September 22, 2024. Williams and Wilmore joined SpaceX Crew-9 on September 29. The astronauts are scheduled to return to Earth in late March or April 2025.

"The CST-100 accommodates up to seven passengers or a mix of crew and cargo and will transport astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) and other low-Earth-orbit destinations. Featuring an innovative weld-less design and Boeing LED 'Sky Lighting,' the capsule's first manned mission is planned for 2017."
