1961 Chocolates Simón : 25 Años de Vida Mundial
25 Años de Vida Mndial (25 Years of World Life) was published in 1961
by Chocolates Simón of San Sadurni De Noya, Spain. The card text and album descriptions are printed
in Spanish. The 144-card base series showcases global events, athletes, political leaders, and technological advancements from 1935–1961. The collection includes nine additional oversized
"Lamina" card panels, each measuring 16 x 20 mm. A similar card album was
later released by Chocolates Simón in 1964 as
Tres Años de Vida Mundial.
The base collection includes illustrations of Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin and Mercury astronaut Alan Shepard, as well as Sputnik 1 and Explorer 1.
