2022 Topps Heritage Baseball Trading Cards
2022 Topps Heritage Baseball trading cards were released by The Topps
Company, Inc. on March 11, 2022. The collection recreates the vintage design
of the 1973 Topps Baseball series. Each hobby box contains 24 packs
with 9 cards per pack. Each blaster box contains 8 packs with 9 cards per
pack. Value packs contain 20 cards. Hanger boxes contain 35 cards. Insert odds
vary for each release.
The odds of finding a "News Flashbacks 1973" insert are approximately 1:18
packs for hobby and retail releases. The 15-card subset includes a photograph
of the Skylab space station. The first U.S. space station was launched by NASA
on May 17, 1973. The photograph was taken from the Apollo CSM-116 spacecraft
during the crew departure of Skylab 2 on June 22, 1973.
"America's first space station, Skylab, was launched into space
successfully. Eleven days later, three astronauts (Charles Conrad, Joseph
Kerwin, and Paul Weitz) rendezvoused with the orbiting 118-foot tall, 77-ton
laboratory for scientific experiments and observation."
